Wainman Hawaii introduces their premier twin-tip board: the Blunt. It was designed to be crazy-light yet strong with very little drag and massive pop. Tested in the brutal waters of Maui, the Blunt’s thin profile cuts through chop like a razor and absorbs bumps like a shock. Its smooth, skatey feel can also be enjoyed finless, which is Lou Wainman’s favorite setup. The Blunt comes with light and cushy pads that absorb the impact but don’t let the rider “dive” into the foot straps when landing with power and speed. If this board meets the standards of Wainman himself, it should certainly meet yours.

Sizes: 120, 125, 130 and 135 cm

The 09 Red-Line Bar specifications are being updated to improve their performance and make them more suited to use with the 2010 Waroo and Nemesis NXG. These changes improve the ease of use of the depower straps, improve the design of the bypass leash karabiners and adjust the flying line lengths to make them more suitable for the new canopy profiles and plan shapes. The Kahoona is already designed to accommodate these shorter flying line lengths. Owners of current 09 Bars should remove the 3m extension lines to gain optimum performance with 2010 kites.

The Red-line Bar is the perfect complement to your Kahoona kite. Designed to offer the simplest and most practical safety system for all riding styles, the Red-line Bar should be the first choice of any beginner rider looking for safety, simplicity and ease of use.

A 3D moulded grip and EVA bar end bumper inserts provides exceptional comfort, while the Big-Black quick release ensures faultless safety activation whenever you need it. The Red-line safety system provides maximum depower no matter where the kite is positioned when active. Our all carbon bar construction with one piece centre bushing guarantees lasting durability and colour co-ordinated 700lb rated flying lines help to make sure you never connect the wrong lines.

The Red-line bar builds on the strengths and proven safety features of our 2009 Best Bar, it offers the right mix of proven features and simple safety activation that big-wave riders and beginners need.
